On April 22nd it will be Earth Day! We should all be nice to the earth and not just that day, everyday! That way we can make sure animals and us can have a bright future! Because if we don’t well, we would cause LOTS of problems! They say that in the next century Iceland could melt and that would make the sea level go up by 23 feet! That is a lot! But we can do a lot of things to stop that! We can take shorter showers, recycle more, use a reusable water bottle, use sweaters or coats not so much heat, turn off the TV, computer, lights and phones when not in use and more!

What will you do to help the earth?

Just now I was on a great blog called the Cougar News Blog. Their blog is really good! Now let me get to the memory part. They posted a challenge where you should write a post on memories. The memories you would delete, ones that you love, the people who you share them with and so on. Now, lets get started! First up, memories that I love:
Some of my best memories are when I went to India at the orphanage there. My parents are from India and we were visiting my cousins, aunts and uncles. When I walked in I just felt happy and nervous at the same time! I mean I felt good I was helping them but was nervous because some of them were older then me. But I would never trade that memory…I love it. Another one is

   when I when my mom, sister and I watch American Idol. It always makes me feel good. Now some of the memories I would want to delete:
Well, once in kindergarten my class went on a field trip to a pumpkin patch. There was a maze with a slide and I went through the maze but got scared to got down the slide! So I had to follow the maze path back to the start to get out! Also one time I messed up on something on the first day of school! I would delete those because they were weird and made me feel like a fool!
                                                                                                                                                         But I think that the people who I have shared memories with are people I know and love. Like my family, friends and teachers. Memories come and go but the best ones  will stay with you  forever!

American Idol  is a singing competition show where  there are contestants and they sing. People can vote for their favorite singer and whoever wins becomes the next american idol! It is a really fun show and there are tons of good singers! Right now there are only
8 singers left! My favorite is a girl called Jena Irene. I think she is really good!

Last week American Idol said goodbye to a person called Majesty Rose. A couple other people have gone too. But luckily some of my favorites are still there! The judges this year are Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. Last year it was some different people. Here is a picture of them:

Most of the singers left in American Idol are pretty good. But still I wonder “Who will win?”
I guess everyone will just have to see! I hope that I can keep watching and I will tell you who wins! Blog on!

For spring break I am in California! I have done some really fun things but the most fun was going to…..Hollywood! I got to go on this really cool tour with my
friends and family and we got to see the official Hollywood sign!!! We also got to see some celebrities houses and landmarks! We saw lots of houses including: Katy Perry’s (Singer), Bruno Mars (Singer),
Justin Timberlake (Singer) Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly Actress),  Magic Johnson’s (Basketball Player), Lucille Ball’s house and more! But all of the houses were covered by some bushes and Justin Timberlake had a
security guard (Makes sense though). I also saw some cool landmarks like the Beverly Hills Hotel and places where they filmed some movies. It was super cool! I really hope that
I can see some more cool things next year!                                       Have you been to Hollywood/California?

A couple days ago it was International Happiness Day! Our school celebrated
it by inviting a author called Linda Cohen. We drew happy sidewalk chalk notes and messages and doodles! We also did a surprise dance party for our counselor Ms. Barber because she was the one who invited Linda Cohen and because she is so nice! Then when we were at at a assembly! Being happy and kind is super important so it is good that we can be able to do it in my school!

Did you know that it was National Happiness Day?

I live in Portland, Oregon and am going to tell you a little about Oregon okay? Well, Oregon’s capital is Salem and that is where some important places are like Willamete University and Corban University. Then there is the smaller city in which I live in called West Linn. Oregon is a green state with lots of beavers! That is why our state animal is the beaver. Our state flower is the Oregon Grape and we have the Western meadow Lark. Here in Oregon we have lots of wildlife and rain. So we can always look out the window and see lots of grass and trees. In school we have been doing a super fun thing! We have been making our own cardboard games and bringing them in. We have gotten so many that we have decided to have a Game day sometime! I have only made 1 game but my friend has made about 4! I think that what we are doing is super fun and our inspiration was a bot named Caine who is 9 years old. He has his own Cardboard Arcade and it is amazing!

In a couple of weeks I am going to California! It is going to be super fun. I have friends that live there and we always
stay with them when we come. They live in LA (Los Angeles) and we have gone to there house many times. I have been to Lego world,
Sea world, Disneyland and the zoo. I think that all the places that we have visited there are all really fun! Plus California is almost always sunny! 🙂 So we will make the most of our time there! I am super excited about it!
