This week I am posting about leadership. I think that leadership means to help people and show teamwork. It means you are the the spirit or the go-getter of the team. It means you matter! I think I am a leader in relay races and when it comes to working together. Some more great examples of leaders are my friends Lily, Kaia, Lulu and Grace. They all are awesome and leaders! Some people are leaders in different ways thought too…. like the president or the mayor or even people like your teacher! Some people are funny leaders like my friend Maude. She is a total class clown, but sill clowns can be leaders! So think: Are you a leader? Do you help people when they need you? Can people depend on you? Comment and tell me!

My class is talking about goal setting and it is pretty fun! We are coming up with our goals and putting it through the if and then process. So I am now going to show you my goals and the process. Well, here are my goals:
I want to be able to do a back handspring. I also want to do hip hop. Now lets put them through the process.  If can’t do the back handspring before the end of summer,
then I will work hard and practice every day on the bed. Now for the 2nd goal:
If I can’t get in to hip hop class by the time the year ends, then I will prove to my parents that I want to do it and work hard. So think…. what will your goals be and what will your plan be? Will you work to be a soccer player? A shop owner? A nurse? Comment and tell me!

On April 22nd it will be Earth Day! We should all be nice to the earth and not just that day, everyday! That way we can make sure animals and us can have a bright future! Because if we don’t well, we would cause LOTS of problems! They say that in the next century Iceland could melt and that would make the sea level go up by 23 feet! That is a lot! But we can do a lot of things to stop that! We can take shorter showers, recycle more, use a reusable water bottle, use sweaters or coats not so much heat, turn off the TV, computer, lights and phones when not in use and more!

What will you do to help the earth?

Just now I was on a great blog called the Cougar News Blog. Their blog is really good! Now let me get to the memory part. They posted a challenge where you should write a post on memories. The memories you would delete, ones that you love, the people who you share them with and so on. Now, lets get started! First up, memories that I love:
Some of my best memories are when I went to India at the orphanage there. My parents are from India and we were visiting my cousins, aunts and uncles. When I walked in I just felt happy and nervous at the same time! I mean I felt good I was helping them but was nervous because some of them were older then me. But I would never trade that memory…I love it. Another one is

   when I when my mom, sister and I watch American Idol. It always makes me feel good. Now some of the memories I would want to delete:
Well, once in kindergarten my class went on a field trip to a pumpkin patch. There was a maze with a slide and I went through the maze but got scared to got down the slide! So I had to follow the maze path back to the start to get out! Also one time I messed up on something on the first day of school! I would delete those because they were weird and made me feel like a fool!
                                                                                                                                                         But I think that the people who I have shared memories with are people I know and love. Like my family, friends and teachers. Memories come and go but the best ones  will stay with you  forever!

American Idol  is a singing competition show where  there are contestants and they sing. People can vote for their favorite singer and whoever wins becomes the next american idol! It is a really fun show and there are tons of good singers! Right now there are only
8 singers left! My favorite is a girl called Jena Irene. I think she is really good!

Last week American Idol said goodbye to a person called Majesty Rose. A couple other people have gone too. But luckily some of my favorites are still there! The judges this year are Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. Last year it was some different people. Here is a picture of them:

Most of the singers left in American Idol are pretty good. But still I wonder “Who will win?”
I guess everyone will just have to see! I hope that I can keep watching and I will tell you who wins! Blog on!
